Barney

November 17th, 2008 will be a day I will never forget. My beautiful, handsome, loving, beagle Barney returned to me as a bouncing, barking, beautiful Beagle Puppy...

On December 17th of 2007 my twelve year old Beagle named Barney passed away. My heart broke. After a few days I asked a friend that does Animal Communication to do a session with Barney and me. She assured me that Barney was going to return to me as a healthy, happy, active, puppy. I missed Barney very much but knew when the time came that he would return to me.

On November 15th of this year I was in Georgia on a mini vacation when my phone rang. My friend Denise with Suncoast Animal League was calling to tell me they have a beagle puppy I should see. I had just rescued two one year old beagles and told her I had my hands full. As I ended the call I had an urgent feeling to call her back and go see the puppy. I placed the call and made the arrangements.

My friend Denise went with me that Monday morning. Erica met us at Suncoast and introduced us to this cute, happy Beagle puppy. After visiting with the puppy a few minutes I went to my car to get my camera. When I came back in the room, Denise said "You are not going to believe this. Erica did not think this beagle puppy's name was right for him and she has given him a new name." The new name was Barney. Erica did not know me and did not know about my beagle Barney passing. I had chill bumps but was not completely convinced that this puppy was Barney. Erica, Denise, and I went outside to take some pictures of other dogs and left Barney to play with the cats. When I went back in alone to see Barney he came running to me with a red toy. Red was Barney's favorite color. I then picked him up and took him outside. We were alone about two minutes and I knew this is Barney, my Barney. When he gave me that familiar nuzzle I KNEW, THIS IS BARNEY!

Since having Barney at home many other traits have surfaced. The way he walks, the sideways glance, running to the door to greet me with a toy, and the love that is so familiar.
