Bella & Tink

I found Bella & Tink on Petfinder after they were part of a 200-animal rescue in Hernando County, Florida & taken in by Suncoast Animal League. Tink was amazingly healthy but Bella had some health issues when I got them to my rodentologist & vet. The girls were apparently housed at the original Hernando "shelter" on a wire bottom cage--Tink had a few foot problems from that but Bella had a severe fungal foot infection from getting her little foot caught in the wire bottom cage. She apparently tried to free her foot by gnawing on the wires. Her top incisors were seriously gnawed off at the gum-line & her lower incisors were overgrown almost to the roof of her mouth.

Happily, they're both doing well now--all of the problems are resolved & they're looking forward to getting together with my 2 older GP's, Winnie & Lily tomorrow.
