Lucy Lou - March 2009 Update

As you can see, Lucy Lou is doing well.. She said to tell everyone hi and sends a big kiss too ] I have a funny story for you. I went to Costco Friday and brought home a tray of corn muffins. My husband had 1 with his dinner and they were setting on the kitchen counter still in the package. There was a small opening in the package where I took out the muffin.

I was reading email and Lucy was right behind me. I didn't see her leave the room so when I realized she was gone I went to see what was going on.. Lucy was in the dining room doorway eating something off the floor. All I could see in the dim light was a round white thing that thought was a tortilla (we didn't have any ) I turned on the light and she had her foot on the paper cup that muffins are baked in. She had flattened it out and was eating every crumb. She ran into the living room and jumped into my husbands lap. I went into the kitchen and saw she had stood up against the counter and pulled a muffin from the package.  She didn't even rip the package. She was able to gently pull out 1 corn muffin thru the opening and eat it quietly. We don't give her table food so she hit the mother load. I was trying very hard not to laugh while scolding her. Lucy is a trip. Thanks again for  allowing us to adopt her.
